siddhARTha karmakar Art Foundation (SKAF India), founded by artist and advertising professional siddhARTha karmakar, is committed to uplifting emerging artists, especially those lacking recognition or platforms to showcase their work. With an MFA from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and 25+ years in advertising sector in Mumbai, Siddhartha combines creative and strategic expertise to guide artists in navigating today’s art landscape. ARTWORK GUIDELINES
- Artwork in any medium on framed canvas or canvas board is preferred.
- An outer frame is not mandatory for inner framed canvas, but it is mandatory for canvas boards.
- Glass-framed artwork will be accepted only if the artist can drop off and pick up the artwork/s directly from the gallery on the specified dates and time. Glass-framed artwork/s will not be accepted via hyperlocal courier or delivery services.
- For photography, canvas print with inner frame is preffered.
- 2 hanging clips on the backside of each artwork are mandatory, even for small-sized works.
SIZE OF ARTWORKS
Maximum size of artwork should be:
2 ft (width) x 2 ft (height)
(AFTER COMPLETE FRAMING)
Artwork slightly larger will be accepted with an additional fee.


PHYSICAL ARTWORK SUBMISSION
Artists must personally deliver and collect their artwork to and from the Gallery. No artwork/s will be accepted through courier.

PARTICIPATION FEES
PAYABLE AFTER THE SELECTION, NOT AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION
FOR 4 WEEKS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS
5 ARTWORKS Rs. 9999
FOR EXTRA ARTWORK Rs. 1999 FOR EACH
FOR 10 ARTWORKS & ABOVE FLAT 10% DISCOUNT on the total fees.


SALES & COMMISSION
If an artwork is sold during the exhibition, 33% of the selling price will be charged as the gallery commission. Therefore, please quote your selling price accordingly.
ALL ARTISTS WILL GET
Participation certificate and memento willbe provided to all participants.
Participation e-certificate and e-poster will also be provided to all participants.
CURATORSHIP & SUBMISSION FEE
Indian Art Carnival is curated by siddhARTha karmakar Art Foundation, Mumbai. There is no submission fee to apply for selection. Participation fees are payable only after final selection.
SELECTION PROCESS
Each submission will be evaluated individually, not collectively.
PAYMENT TIMELINE
Participation fees must be paid within 4 days of selection. Space will be reserved for 4 days only; if payment is not received, the slot will be offered to another artist.


ARTWORK DELIVERY
Artists who personally deliver and collect their artwork on the specified dates. No artwork/s will be accepted through courier.
ARTIST PRESENCE
The artist’s physical presence at the exhibition at all times is not mandatory.
